My Best Friend is Famous!

I was driving to work yesterday listening to AAF. They were talking about mothers pushing for a law to make breast feeding in public entirely legal so they won’t be hassled about it. I guess it’s a particularly big deal at sporting events. Personally, I figure if you’ve got the guts to do it, go for it. Who hasn’t seen a breast before?

Anyway, this girl called up to say that she didn’t think it was right for people to not be allowed to do it in public and that women shouldn’t have to go to a bathroom or something if they want to breast feed. The caller laughed and I knew right away that it was Sarah! I turned up the radio and they talked to her for a couple minutes. Then I called her cell phone and was like, “Were you just on the radio??”

“YES!” she squealed.

It was such a random thing and so funny. So I got to talk to Sarah on my way into work, which was nice and tell her about Katie and take my mind off of all the craziness with the pets and such.

Yea, and from what you said, Spaz really needs to lighten up instead of sighing at hot female callers!! lol.

ROTS Review - it's not all puppy dogs and ice cream

Well, Revenge of the Sith opened last night. I’m told it made 16.5 million with just its midnight show. I’m not surprised. This was the long-anticipated end to a huge saga. And I have to say that after having last night and some of today to reflect on it, I was a bit disappointed. The die-hard fans are furious right now, I’m sure. “What? But. . .it’s Star Wars. . .How can you not like it??” I will tell you how. First of all, I’m not saying I hated it . I enjoyed it enough and I definitely plan to see it again. There was so much to see on screen that you certainly need to view it more than once to take it all in properly. I did not hate every second of it. I left with a mostly satisfied feeling. Update from the road

I don't use blogger anymore. I love the interface here and I like it better than livejournal but there is just no sense of community for me here anymore. I still read a few people's blogs but that's it really and I never hear from anyone on here so... I switched to LJ. If you want to know any of the happenings of my life, you can catch up there . I'm driving cross country currently with my husband, Seth. We started at my home in Mass and are in cali now. We're going to be in Washington State by Sunday. That's where Seth's job is. For any of those of you who have my cell phone number, it's shut off right now. That's what happens when you get fired for no reason from your job, denied unemployment, and you can't pay your bills. But it'll be back on again soon. Even though i'm going to miss my family and the few good friends I had there, I am so glad to be out of that god-forsaken state.
